Privacy Policy

Parallel Limited Liability Company ("we" or "us") handles your information in "Liket" (the "Service") as described below, in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other laws.
This English version is a reference translation. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
1. Information we collect

- We do not store images or videos themselves on our servers. Your device loads them directly from X's servers when they are shown.
- We do not receive your credit card number. Stripe handles it.
- We do not collect your X email address.
- We request only these X API permissions: reading posts (tweet.read), reading user information (users.read), reading likes (like.read), and staying connected (offline.access). We never post, like, follow, or take other actions on your behalf.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service (retrieving, showing, and organizing your liked posts)
- To verify sign-ins and prevent misuse
- To bill you and manage your plan and available syncs
- To investigate problems and improve the Service
- To answer inquiries and send important notices
- To reflect posts deleted or changed on X, as X's terms require
3. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except:
- when required by law;
- when needed to protect a person's life, body, or property and it is hard to get your consent; or
- when we entrust handling to the service providers in section 4, to the extent needed.
4. Service providers and handling outside Japan
The Service uses the following providers. All are based in the United States, and data may be handled on servers in the United States and other countries.

You can learn about personal information protection in the United States on the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan's website. Each provider handles information according to its own privacy policy.
5. Retention and deletion
- Posts that are deleted, made private, withheld, or suspended on X, and posts whose author's account is deleted, are deleted from the Service within 24 hours of our check. The Service checks all stored posts against X every day.
- Information you remove (such as tags you take off, or an X account you disconnect) is deleted at that time.
- When you close your account, we delete all of your data from our database. Payment records are kept by Stripe, Inc. as required by law.
- Error logs and similar records are kept only for Cloudflare's retention period.
6. Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to block forged requests. We do not use cookies for advertising or behavior analytics.
7. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), encryption of X credentials and two-factor authentication data, per-user access control, and limits on sign-in attempts.
8. Your requests
You may ask us to disclose, correct, stop using, or delete your personal data as allowed by law. Contact us below. We will confirm your identity and respond within a reasonable period.
9. Changes
We will announce changes to this policy in the Service.
