Terms of Service

Effective date: November 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the conditions for using "Liket" (the "Service") provided by Parallel Limited Liability Company ("we" or "us"). They apply to everyone who uses the Service ("you").

This English version is a reference translation. If it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.

1. The Service

  1. The Service retrieves, through the X API, the posts you have liked on X (formerly Twitter) that contain images, videos, or links, and shows them in a form that is easy to browse.
  2. We do not store the images or videos themselves on our servers. They are loaded from X's servers when shown.
  3. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp.

2. Account

  1. You sign in with your X account. By signing in, you agree to these Terms.
  2. You are responsible for managing your X account.
  3. If you are a minor, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian before buying a paid plan or product.

3. X's terms

  1. You must follow X's terms and policies when using the Service.
  2. Posts that are deleted, made private, or withheld on X are no longer shown in the Service, and the related data is deleted. We are not responsible if your tags or other data stop being shown as a result.
  3. If the X API's specifications, prices, or terms change, we may change or stop features of the Service.

4. Plans

  1. The Service has a free plan ("Free") and a paid plan ("Pro"). The features and the number of posts you can sync on each plan are shown on the pricing page (/pricing).
  2. Pro is a subscription at JPY 680 per month or JPY 6,800 per year, tax included. It renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel.
  3. You can cancel Pro at any time from the billing page opened from Settings. After you cancel, you keep Pro until the end of the paid period and then return to Free. We do not give prorated refunds.
  4. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., by credit card or other supported methods.

5. Purchased syncs

  1. You can buy additional syncs with a one-time payment ("purchased syncs"). The products and prices are shown on the pricing page.
  2. Purchased syncs do not expire. You can use them on Free and on Pro, and they remain when you change plans.
  3. When you sync, your plan's syncs (Pro's monthly syncs or Free's free syncs) are used first, and purchased syncs are used after those run out.
  4. Except where required by law, purchased syncs are not refunded. They cannot be transferred to other users or exchanged for cash.
  5. If a payment is cancelled, refunded, or charged back, we deduct the remaining syncs added by that purchase.
  6. If we end the Service, we will handle unused purchased syncs as required by the Payment Services Act and other laws.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  1. break the law or public order and morals;
  2. infringe the rights of us, X, or others (including copyright, portrait rights, and privacy);
  3. copy or redistribute images, videos, or other content shown in the Service without the right holder's permission;
  4. put excessive load on our servers or networks, gain unauthorized access, or reverse-engineer the Service;
  5. send large numbers of requests to the Service by automated means;
  6. impersonate others or use another person's X account;
  7. interfere with the operation of the Service; or
  8. do anything else we reasonably consider inappropriate.

7. Suspension

If you break these Terms, or if we consider it necessary, we may suspend your use of the Service or delete your account without prior notice. Fees already paid and purchased syncs are not refunded in that case.

8. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time from "Delete account" in Settings. When you close your account, we delete all of your data (including imported likes, tags, and settings), and it cannot be restored. Pro is cancelled at the same time, and the remaining period and purchased syncs are not refunded.

9. Changes, interruptions, and ending the Service

  1. We may change the Service without prior notice.
  2. We may interrupt all or part of the Service for maintenance, failures, suspension or limits of the X API, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control.
  3. We may end the Service after announcing it in the Service at least 30 days in advance.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

  1. We do not guarantee that the Service fits a particular purpose, that it can retrieve all of your posts on X, or that it is always available.
  2. We are not responsible for damage caused by changes on X's side, deleted posts, or X API failures.
  3. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the month the damage occurred. Where the Consumer Contract Act or other laws do not allow this limit, those laws apply.

11. Personal information

We handle your information according to our Privacy Policy (/privacy).

12. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms in accordance with the Civil Code's provisions on standard terms. We will announce the new Terms and their effective date in the Service a reasonable period before they take effect.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any dispute about the Service.
